If there was a prize (or punishment) for dating the largest number of
people in the shortest time, the average nairobian socialite would
win, hands down. I can speak from experience that there are very very
many out there who've either engaged in or been a victim of a serial
relationship. The sad thing is that they rarely ever remember half of
these 'hit and run' relationships.
I keep asking myself, what would be the purpose of dating somebody for
less than a month then end the relationship so that I can go out with
her friend who i wanted to go out with in the first place but couldn't
coz she was going out with someone else. Small wonder that broken
hearts abound (oh the humanity!!!)
Looking at it realistically, in th words of one great writer, 'Man
must live'. And i add that he must live abundantly. Just be wary of
serial daters ;-)
